Trip to Italy

I went to Italy with my family and friends for 5 days.
Day1:-
-----
We went to the vatican museum. We saw the best pictures. Most of it was by Michaelangelo. Some was by Rafael. Children had treasure hunt. We also learnt about mummies.

Day 2:-
-------
We went to the colloseum. It was a world wonder. It was an ancient amphi-theater where gladiators fought.We could think about how cruel the kings were. Next we went to the palantino hill. The emperors used to keep their throne high so that the people think that the emperor is God. We also went thru the secret corridor used by the emperor during the wars. Then we went to the wishing fountain. We went to Florence at night.

Day 3:-

In the morning, we looked at spectacular domes. After we looked at them, we went to our hotel and took rest. At noon, we went to Pisa. Some of my friends and my mom went inside the leaning tower of Pisa. After that we went into a church. I got a souvenir there , lost it and became very sad. Then my dad got me exactly the same one and i felt happy again.

Day 4:-

We went to Venice and soon had to go to a hotel.  We saw lots of nice buildings around the water. We went to the glass factory. To make glass, we need silicon, salt and sand. My mom bought a necklace made out of Morano glass. The gondolo is a small but decorated boat. I could not ride on it because of my naughty little sister. So, we had a cruise. It was time to go to Milan. We caught the train to Milan and by 12 PM we were in Milan.

Day 5:

We went to Milan airport the next day and finally reached Eindhoven. It was my best trip.

Newspapers

The second thing you do in the morning is read newspapers. It has comics, stories, activities, games and news. My favourite sections are YoungWorld and MetroPlus. Newspapers engage people in a positive way. I wish i could read all the interesting news. It is fun to read news.

Space

Space is above the sky. The planets, stars and the moon are in space. Jupiter is the largest planet. Asteroids and meteorites are harmful for the earth. They hit the earth sometimes. Moon protects the earth. Astronauts explore space. There are hundreds of galaxies in space. Our galaxy is Milky way. Earth is in blue color.

My School in Netherlands

One year ago, we were forced to go to Netherlands. I missed all my friends and teachers in PSBB. I felt horrible. Soon i went to my new school. My new school was International School Eindhoven( ISE). As soon as i entered school, everything was different from India.In India, we wore uniform and take books. But in Netherlands, you don't have to do it. My school is an international school.

Everyone is from different countries. I came across many students speaking different languages. I started playing in the snow. We have parties like, Carnival, Halloween and Christmas party. I have two teachers, Mrs Lubeek and Mrs Garavito. Learning gets easier and fun with them.
There is an enormous library and we choose 3 books to read every week. The name of the librarian was Mrs. Starrenburg. Now that i'm back from Holland, i am recollecting my memories in India.

My memories in Holland

I went to the Netherlands(Holland) last year. I first thought Netherlands was very cold. I soon got used to the weather but there was  no opportunity to eat IceCream there. I had a peaceful time there. We stayed in an apartment. I joined a new school and started making

friends.I quickly got a cycle and shifted to pastoor petersstraat. We had to be very quiet there. Soon my friend Vishal moved in. In four months, I got used to playing in the snow. May be moon faces Netherlands!!!!

I went to various trips. Vishal was my best friend there. Keukenhof was the best place I saw. I saw Okapi in Rotterdam Oceanium, which was weird and it looked like a zebra and giraffe together. I went to a Gigantic tower,Euromast, that was awesome. We saw an amazing place called China light.

I had lot of fun and friends in my school. I used to go to Keyboard class. I climbed snow hills near my house.
I came to know that we had to go back to India. I was feeling terribly sad. I travelled all the way from the Netherlands and went back to India. Even if i am back from the Netherlands, i will always have the memories with me.

Sun

You are so hot,
Hotter than a fire pot.

Trip to Belgium

Before the carnival vacation came to an end, me, my family and friends went to Belgium. We went by a car to Brugge. We first went to a chocolate  museum. It taught us all the things about chocolates.  Downstairs, we saw a real demo on how to make chocolates.At the end, the chef gave everyone chocolates. We saw many things made out of chocolates. It was amazing. Soon it was nearly night and  we had to quickly go  because everyone was tired and wanted to go to the hotel. We had a quick look at the room and had dinner at my friend's room.  We went back to our room and slept.

In the morning, we had breakfast and went to a dinosaur museum. I saw a video where they showed how dinosaurs bones were found in the mud. I learnt about fossils and saw the babies of dinosaurs and many different types of dinosaurs. We had donuts in cafe and then took a metro train to the atomium. It was a spherical structure and my mom told me it looks like an atom and that is why it is called atomium. From the top floor we saw mini Europe and also the hotel we stayed.

We went in the metro train and found a restaurant to have dinner. We went to the Grand place and finally reached home late in the night.

I really enjoyed this trip.

Light- a small poem

Light is used in the night.
I might use light day and night.
What a sight in the night with the light!
How much lights are in white?

Trees

I love trees.
Trees give you shade.
Trees make the place look nice.
They are used to make paper.
They give us oxygen.
I feel bad when it is autumn because all the leaves fall down.
I love the spring as the flowers and fruit come back.
It gives us good fragrance and is a treat to our eyes.

My Little Sister

My little sister copies me most of the times.
She likes me.
She plays with me everyday.
She misses  me when i go to school.
She cant speak yet, but i can understand what she wants.
She is sometimes naughty so i teach her good habits.
It is a nightmare when she screams and at that time, I call her horrible Harini.
I feel bad when my friends play with her but still i like her a lot.
She is my adorable sister.

Books

Reading books is one of my hobbies. Books help me imagine. Books make me smarter. Encyclopedia's give lot of information about different things. Reading books are fun. My favorite auther is Geronimo Stilton. I like reading comic books and other books too. As I grow up, I would like to read international newspapers so that i can know what is happening around the world.

Snow

I like snow. It always covers the trees beautifully.

When it becomes ice, its more fun to play as it is slippery.

When it becomes water, we can play more games with it.

Sometimes people throw  snow at each other and enjoy it.

Snow is really smaller than I imagined.

When it snows, I catch it in my mouth.

When it snows, I like the place better.

Today

Today was a nice day. It was snowy and i had a nice time playing. I had a good time at school. Miss Garavito read a story called Minnie the cat girl and I liked listening to it although i did not enjoy it much. In guided reading, they asked me to draw something about buildings and i drew pyramids. I love to know about pyramids as they are scary and interesting. Evening, i tried my best in skating by jumping with roller skates.
